I want to get several brushes but not the ones that cost about ten bucks for a single brush. Does Sally's Beauty Supply Store sell and makeup brushes (specifically crease brushes)? if not, can you give me the names of stores that sell cheap brushes? Does Sally's Beauty Supply Store sell makeup brushes?

I love, love, love Mally's makeup (LOL), it is very pretty and anyone can do it! I love City Chick Smokey Eye in Brownstone, gives me a wonderful smokey eye look, as well as City Chick Smokey Eye in Plum Chelsea to bring out my brown eyes. Her makeup brushes are a little on the low quality end, but her makeup line really defines and contours your face beautifully!! You should definitely give her makeup a try!!!!!!

You must start with skin care. Makeup cannot cover up acne that well without looking artificial. Eczema and dry skin must be managed.
If you are older, say over thirty-five, stay away from dry, powdery foundations. They work better on smoother, younger skin with more oil. Also, stay away from those 'pot foundations' for dry skin that look heavy and greasy. The more oil and thickeners in a foundation, the more heavy it will be.
Also, stay away from powders with kaolin or mica if you have dry, sensitive skin. Mica is literally ground metal and kaolin is a clay, which sucks up moisture from the skin. if you want wavy hair, you just pour water and salt in an empty spritz bottle to make your hair look like you just got back from the beach
1. never ever ever do the dark lip liner light gloss poutdated trend
2. mascara is a must if you have dark hair black if light like blond go with brown
3. always start out with a base like a tinted lotion before aplying concealer that way blemishes will be better concealed
4. never do red lips and blue eyeshadow together
5. silver eyeshadow from maybelline looks great on all eye colers
6. always blend in blush
7. if your doing bronzer dont cake it on some people think the more the better but it will only make your face look dirty
8. also if you want realy pretty eyes buy a trio of the same coler eyeshadow and put a medium shade on your lid a darker shade in your crease and a light coler blending it up to your browbone
9. if you have curly hair get it layered and never thin it out and use frizz-ease products also in salons they have a great line called curl life and thats about it!

鈾?Get egg whites, whip them, and put them on your face. It cleanses your skin! Do this once a week.

keep your skin clean, and keep your hands off your facee, the oils in your hands can make your face dirty and cause acne.. dont apply too much liquid make up or it will cake on and look badd... use conditioner nd dont straighten your hair everyday or it will be friedd. and DONT USE TOO MUCH EYELINERR.. alot of girls make that mistake and look like RACOONSS..!!! be carefull of the eyelinerr.. =]

Ricky Reyes is the largest salon franchise in the Philippines. Salons in the Philippines is not as lucrative if your comparing it to the U.S. most especially if your not a well-known hairdresser. Why would you want to earn pesos when you can earn dollars??

concealer and foundation, im all about mac's studiofix. their concealer works wonders for me, and i always have horrible dark circles under my eyes even when im fully rested. for my wedding i did my own makeup, and i did around 2 layers of concealer plus a lot of powder to set it, and u really cud not see any dark circles AT ALL.
i use both blush and bronzer, i tend to use bronzer more in the summer, and lblush in the winter. however, bronzer works best for me cuz im brownskinned, so it looks more natural and just blends in better with my own skin tone.Some beauty/makeup questions?
dark circles can be covered with concealors..
use dark brown eyeliner top n bottom.. but not too much..
Deep set eyes often need brightening and so a sweep of light-reflecting concealer under the eye and over any dark circles instantly makes then look illuminated. Bourgeois and L'Oreal do very good light reflecting concealers.
Also, if you use a pearly eyeshadow in the corners of the eye closest to the nose and smudge outwards away from the nose with your fingertip then this too makes the eyes look bright.
I conceal my dark circles every day with concealer and foundation but there are creams you can buy but frankly, a pair of cucumber slices along with lots of sleep is a much cheaper option.
As for blush v bronzer, a bit of both in moderation is much more natural-looking. Lightly dust the face with bronzer for a healthy glow then use blush to define your rosey cheeks!

now im in acedemy beauty school and they teach me all different types of things to do with your hair and make up.
i use this gel for my natural curly/wavy hair its called HERBAL ESSENCES totally twisted curl scrunching twisted it is used forcurly hair. it will keep your hair from frizzing up like a poodle and lock you waves and spirals smoothy with the weightless formula fused with french lavender and jade extracts. it will make all those humid days feel like a spring breeze.
the other thing i use alot is HERBAL ESSENCES tottaly twisted curl boosting mousse. it will keep humidy out of your hair and give curls and waves a lust boost. the twist? it will make your hair shiny and springy with the weightless formula fused with french lavender and jade extracts.
i hope this works and i dont wear make up because it blocks your pores and you will break out with zits and black heads i'v never had a zit or a black head....

*If you have green eyes, try using a lite green eyeshadow, or plum eyeshadow, it makes your eyes stand out. Add lite pink, or clear lipgloss with it.
*If you want the smoky look, try using browns and lite grays, instead of black and dark grays, or for a dramatic smokey-eyed look, use deep purple shadow and liner. Pair that with a shiny clear or light neutral colored gloss.
*When using liquid foundation, mix a little foundation with some aloe vera lotion and apply it. It makes it feel lighter and airy. You don't have that caked on feeling.
*Use a silver or gold glitter stick on your browbones right below your brows, for extra sparkle.

Use a clear or light lipgloss, and voila! you look marvelous without looking cakey!

depends..when my daughter was around 5 i put her in one.. we use light .. very light make up and a lipstick that almost matched the color of her lips.. you really could not tell she had any on.. but because she was wearing it it made her feel as if she was.. now the the thing is are we really putting them in it for them or our selves.. at the time i thought it was for her.. now years down the road i realized that it was for me not her.. she did not ask to go to these thing.. i just drug her along.. spent money i did not have on a dresses..and fee to attend..what i should have done was wait until she ask to be in them...but yeah i have seen them made up to look like little clowns.. and worse

You might want to go get teeth cleaning to enhance your smile or your the Whitestrips. Last but not least, go to a mall makeup counter like MAC cosmetics or Lancome, Clinique, Fashion Fair, etc. and have a free makeover scheduled which will give you an idea of what you want to look like. Anywho, in answering your question, my beauty secret is drinking tons of water and dry brushing the body! You'd be amazed at what dry brushing does to the skin! It gives it a nice glow and smoothes out rough spots! Of course, water hydrates the skin, making it look nice and plump. When you have nice skin all around, putting on makeup is a lot easier. 2. Olive oil to moisturize my body and to make my hair silky smooth.
3. Apply vaseline to your lips. Its better than any lip balm.

I love Dermalogica's Active Moist at night, and their tinted mositurizer in the morning. Their whole skincare line is kick ***.
For dry hair: Wet your hair, and then dry it a bit so its not sopping. Then, comb about 2 teaspoons of olive oil through your hair, and then wrap a warm towel around your hair. Keep the towel on your hair for an hour, using a blow dryer to keep it warm. Then, wash your hair, getting all of the oil out.
Drink lots and lots of water, because keeping hydrated is a good way to keep your skin from getting gross.
Burts Bees lip balm is fantastic for keeping lips soft. Keep some on hand, along with your regular lipgloss. Put the burts bees on first, then a little bit of lipgloss over, and it helps to make sure that the lipgloss is not as gross and sticky.
A way to help your deodorant work better, put some on before you go to bed at night, because it gives your body a chance to get the antiperspirants into your system, so in the morning after you shower and what not, when you put it on again it lasts longer.

1. To remove your make up before going to bed, however drunk or tired!
2. Mosturise using a suitable cream or lotion for you and always do your neck too as it gets older quicker than your face. Always brush up when applying mosturiser.
3 Always get as much sleep as possible it does wonders for your skin.
4. Applying your foundation to your lips will help keep the lipstaick on or if you use gloss it will give a natual skin look which is very in!
5. Natural is best, but there is an art to getting the natural look.
6. Pat eyeshadow on then blend with a clean brush, it lasts longer and stays in place.
7. keep makeup brushes cleaned as they carry bacteria and can cause spots.

2. Mosturise using a suitable cream or lotion for you and always do your neck too as it gets older quicker than your face. Always brush up when applying mosturiser.

4. Applying your foundation to your lips will help keep the lipstaick on or if you use gloss it will give a natual skin look which is very in!
5. Natural is best, but there is an art to getting the natural look.

Great question. I like to get makeup ideas and styles from a book by Kevyn Aucoin (he has 2) and sadly he passed away. It will do you wonders of good to just sift through his book at a bookstore. Here is the link. His site is awesome I promise!!!! BTW I'm huge on eyes and mascara, L'Oreal Voluminous is the best thickener, darkener and lengthener, been using it for years.
Use a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation so your skin will be moisturized and you will look like you have foundation on and it is fool-proof.

Yes, you need to go to cosmetology school, and enroll in an aesthetics course if you want to be able to do facials, waxing, basic makeup, etc, or a course in artistic makeup if you want to focus mainly on makeup. The aesthetics course I took was a year long, but by a year, I mean a full year, summer included. The artistic makeup course by the same school was 8 months long. To make the curls on your eyelashes last all day, heat your eyelash curler with a blow dryer before curling them. Be careful not to make it too hot. Test the metal on your chin before applying to eyelid. If the metal is too hot for your chin it will be too hot for your eyelid. you can also buy heated eyelash curlers but they do not work as well as doing it with a metal curler. I use a mineral foundation, and when my skin is feeling really dry, I put some of the powder on my hand and some of my moisturizer and mix it together until it has a creamy consistancy. I put it on my face with my fingers or a foundation brush and I have a liquid foundation/tinted moisturizer!
The key is to not wear excessive makeup. A little bit is ok, but a lot is hideous. If you wear a lot of makeup, you make yourself less appealing than what you started with.

4)herbal essences is rubbish. try tresseme/sunsilk-they r the best

if u jst use those 3 thn u dnt need heat defence products coz its all there!

My 12 year old cousin wants to know if:
- occassionally curling her eyelashes
- getting eyebrows done
- wear lip gloss
- occassionally wearing clear mascara
is too much for a 12 year old. My mom did not let me do any of that except wear lip gloss at that age, because she knew i was too lazy/irresponsible back then. lols. She's pretty responsible, HECK she gets A+ grades, and does more chores than I do, along with a buncha activities. Right now it's pretty popular to have a natural look... Get a foundation that's as close to your natural skin tone as possible, a light colored blush, and powdered bronzer... Use the foundation all over then put on alittle bit of blush on your cheekbones then put a thin layer of bronzer over the blush... I don't really wear eyeshadow though I just put on a little eyeliner and some mascara...
As for hair products, get a good ceramic straightener for sure... and a good thermal spray to keep your hair healthy...

I would say there is more jobs for doing nails, it can be fun inter acting with other workers. Skin ie makeup you are more in quite mood one on one with client, requires more of a serious temperament. To do makeup in a store most times you do not have to have beauty school. If your in Hollywood and would do makeup for movies then there is lots of money... Most times you would work in spa type salon and not do just makeup but skin care. Then you can make some good money. wishing you the best. personally i would go for make up, i love it soo much.

I have 2 suggestions. I have been using ';Rimmel'; which has an under coat for evening the skin. I can't believe how beautiful my skin feels and looks, and it lasts for over 12 hours without feeling sweaty or clogged up, still looks natural...REALLY!
Also for oily skin, a rice based powder is very good.
Deodorant..First thing is to Scrub your pits with a Washcloth and a good soap ( Safegaurd?) so that the waxy buildup of deodorant is released and your pores can let some stink evaporate freely.
Many of us have to re-apply, cause between anti-perspirants and deodorants there just isn't enough anti-smell. Secret and right gaurd are pretty good, no garauntees. There is some theory that says your feet have to breathe or your B.O. will come out your pits, so try to be more natural in letting your tootsies have free time, and exfoliate!!

Now I found a deoderant called Secret clinical strength, it comes in a box on the shelf where your normal deoderant would be found. There are about two different scents, however the deoderant will run approximately $8. This deoderant seems to have worked wonders for me. It seems like I don't sweat any more. And if I do its not that much at all. Good luck and I hope you can find it and it works for you too. Why are some girls so against makeup when it's just to enhance your beauty?
Face it, ALL women could use makeup. There's no reason to look like a crack whore. I look completely natural w/makeup. But why not improve your appearance if you can? Every woman I know who says they don't wear makeup because they prefer the ';natural look'; could definitely use some. You still need makeup to pull off a natural look. I think when you wear makeup and have your hair nice and dress nice, it shows you care about your appearance and shows confidence.Why are some girls so against makeup when it's just to enhance your beauty?

I honestly agree with you... I personally only think to put on makeup when I'm NOT at work. During the week when I work I wake in just enough time to get ready. So my point is some women do not incorporate that into there day so it's easy to say they like themselves natural. I want to really start caring more about my appearance but it takes money, time , and effort. also some women dont know how to correctly apply make up which can probably push them away from using it. Put I do agree make up does make you look more polished even if it is mascara and a pretty lip gloss.
