what are some good tips for pageant make-up? my friend and i are competing in a pageant and aren't sure how we should wear our make-up. any suggestions?Beauty pageant makeup tips?
Don't try to look like made up dolls. If you are pretty anyway, less will enhance, not cover up. Go to the mall and have the false eyelashes put on though, they make all the difference with the eyes. You might want to go get teeth cleaning to enhance your smile or your the Whitestrips. Put makeup on in light similar to what the stage will have so you can see just about how you will look to judges. Last but not least, go to a mall makeup counter like MAC cosmetics or Lancome, Clinique, Fashion Fair, etc. and have a free makeover scheduled which will give you an idea of what you want to look like. You may want to give them an idea of what color dress you're wearing. One of the MAC reps in my area will contract on a personal basis and will come to do your makeup at your home. i was in a pageant and never wear anything dark or unnatural looking. make you makeup seem simple and sweet. if you must wera eyeliner wear a light brown with a light brown mascara and light pink cheeks with a glossy smile.
Whatever you do don't wear liquid anything except for lip gloss! No icing eyeshadow no liquid foundation, the face should have an airbrushed look to it. The eyeshadow should make your eyes pop, NO EYELINER! NEVER! The lips should be light red with the bathing suit and light pink with the formal outfit.
