Hair and makeup and beauty and stuff?

hey guys i was just wondering what a haul was? as in to do with buying stuff... i live in australia and i have never heard of it before..

what are your fave hairstyles and want to know how to do or have tried and failed?

and . . . what's your favourite foundations, concealers, eyeshadows, eyelyner, bronzers %26amp; lippy??

just wondering cuz i want to know these things xd feel free to answerHair and makeup and beauty and stuff?
A haul is just..when you buy lots of stuff from a brand. Like a MAC haul, it's just when you go to MAC and buy a heap of their stuff. Search MAC haul on youtube and it'll make sense XD Though I think they're just kinda bragging unless they test all the products infront of you and tell you what they think of each item.

I don't really have favourite hair styles, I just curl it, straighten it or wave it.

My favourite foundation is from Pupa, from Kmart, they have a really light colour, lightest I've found so it's perfect for me. xD

My favourite concealer is from Estee Lauder, it's pretty light, and good coverage, nice and creamy.

My favourite eyeshadows are either MAC or the 88 pallettes from www.coastalscents.com

My favourite eyeliners are either the MAC blacktrack fluidline or the gel liners from www.coastalscents.com

I hate bronzers. Though I do contour my face with the 10 blush set from coastal scents. and I highlight with just a white eyeshadow from wherever. and I use the blush from the same 10 blush set from coastal scents.

I don't wear lipstick yet, it looks weird with my braces, I just use a lip balm.Hair and makeup and beauty and stuff?
A ';haul'; is slang for the makeup or beauty products you bring home after your visit to the local mall or online retailer. People use that term when they post pictures of those purchases. If you want to see customer reviews on products, visit makeupalley.com. You can list your skin type (oily, normal, combination, and dry), skin tone, hair and eye colors, and age. It's really handy when someone with similar age and physical characteristics posts a review on something you might like to buy. That way, you can guess as to whether the product will work on you too.
If you say you've been shopping and got a ';good haul'; it's like what you've bought... usually when you buy a lot of stuff, or maybe spend a long time... kinda like value for money, but more just you bought stuff!

I love doing french plaits in my hair, but it makes my arms ache! also curling my hair... but it just takes forever!!

Clinique foundation is like THE best.... and touche eclat YSL concealer... my fav eyeshadows are sparkly white, pink and beige by Dior and Jillian Dempsey for Avon Professional Eyeshadow in browns and beiges... GORGEOUS.

Eyeliner i love clinique and rimmel kohls with smudgers and liquid i love ruby and millie. Avon do a fantastic bronzer...

Fav lipgloss - Cargo and Dior!
I think it's a sale - like a every thing will go quickly (i.e., Fashion Haul)

In terms of Fashion hairstyles, that depends on your hair length. I like a lot of layers, so I'm digging hairstyles that are long at the back and the top has shorter layers with a wispy coming a long the front to the side just covering the one eye.

Fringe (Bangs are also really cute. Like a blunt cut. And NOT short bangs, they have to cover your eyes.

I'm M-A-C all the way in terms of my makeup. Right now, M-A-C did a collab with Hello Kitty. The colours are really cute. But anything by M-A-C and NARS is good too. They've got bright, pungent colour hues.
I buy from Nevia, max foctor. I prefer to go shopping in Paris Gallary~

if you did't buy any of these stuffs yet, go ask an expert to see what colors suits ur skin more. also your skin type.

and about hairstyles, just make the one that suits ur face and ur hair type. put highlights if u want or put some funky hair color dyes ^-^
girl buy some maybelline makeup its cheep and it works good for my eyes, lips, and face.

but never buy Avon it sucks.
i love m.a.c make up the liquid eye liner is great oh and the lip glosses
MAKEUP~

M.A.C is the best..Most makeup artists use M.A.C because of it's high pigment colors, blend-ability, and full-coverage makeup. M.A.C also has the best make-up brushes!! (Definently worth the investment). However, I wouldn't use M.A.C foundation for your 'everyday makeup' because it's very heavy, only use it on special occasions..

For 'everyday face makeup' use a mineral makeup

I love Sephora (or Ulta) ~ go in and play around with all the products

~Benefit has great bronzer (it's called Hoola), blush (Dallas) and mascaras

~Urban Decay has great eye shadows

~Nars is amazing

~Bare Minerals is good for everyday face makeup, because it's all-natural and actually good for your skin

~M.a.c is the best for eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip liner, bronzer and powder... their lip gloss looks great but it feels VERY sticky... Moisture-blend is a great foundation if you have a special event or photoshoot

F.Y.I - M.a.c. is doing a 'recycling program' %26amp; if you bring in 6 empty m.a.c product containers you get a free lip gloss/ lip stick or eye shadow of your choice! ;o)

~Maybelline has good shimmery eye products that I use under my eyebrow to highlight my brow bone)

I also use Maybelline ';great lash'; mascara in black (It's the pink one with the green cap)

I sometimes mix 2 shades of Maybelline 'Mineral Power' Liquid foundation and use it for all-over face coverage (don't forget your neck)

~Victoria's Secret has lovely lip gloss- they smell yummy and have a great texture

Rimmel has good waterproof eyeliner (which is good for summer) and they have good %26amp; cheap brow pencil

Important side notes:

Make sure to remove all make-up before bed, you should use a 3 step skin care routine (1 face wash, 2 toner, 3 moisturizer)

Gently remove mascara w/ cold cream and cotton balls

Wear an SPF on your face and neck everyday

Wash your makeup brushes regularly with soap and warm water and let them lay flat to dry

HAIR~

I always put leave-in conditioner in my hair as soon as a get out of the shower because I have very long hair and conditioner keeps it healthy and silky.

My hair is straight so I like to use a curling iron and curl just the bottom 4 inches to give it a romantic wavy feel

Side-bangs are nice

Play around with a bunch of products and never be afraid to try something new...have fun! =)
