Honestly, Unless they have experianced every school in the US, No one can tell you. All instructors are different, and they all teach different ways. Some may really suck at what they do, and Some may be great at what they do. So really. Pick a school that catches your eye, and go in and ask for a tour. Ask questions about the instructors, students, your scheduale, the education, Etc.
Just to also add: Don't go to a School just because it has a name behind it. Lesser known schools could be alot better then the bigger name, or vice versa. Go to a School that fits you. Because really, The school does not matter after you graduate. If you have your license, the talent, experiance and the passion, You can go far in the field.
Below: A waste of money? You must be completely stupid. training for anything is NOT a waste of money, and helps you get to know what your using better. Any good Make up artist has HAD some training...Just because you have talent doesn't mean you don't need to go to school. It means you have to go to school to learn about it, and to learn different techniques, and whatnot. Idiot. What is the best beauty/makeup school in the US?
in my opinion a real make up artist does not need schooling. it is actually a waste of money. if you have a talent i dont think you should go to school fore it....unless you wanna learn special effects. try practicing at home with friends etc.
your internet obviously works google and research it ...its your choice
