not at all. saying that only men can be papered is a double standered. if he is getting it done to improve his look then thats good not bad so why feel uncomfortable?

No, it is nice to see a man taking care of his appearance, besides a real man takes care of himself for himself. Gay or Straight. Makeup seems to be a newer trend for men so I am not sure how much you would see that in a beauty shop but perhaps in the more high end salons.

In L.A., it is not a big deal at all. We have so many types here, gays and transgenders, metrosexuals, actors getting into some kind of character. I enjoy getting my services at a salon--why should I begrudge a guy from enjoying himself too?
